
Maria Aparecida de Souza, better known as Tina de Souza, is a clinical psychologist, also trained in Literature; Post-graduation in Higher Education Degree created the Unconscious Primary – Integrated System (PUIS). Founder of IPSI Brazil - Institute of Psychology (CRP/SP 4349/J).
Guest Professor at the University of São Paulo (USP), Faculty of Psychology (Geneva/Switzerland), Pacifica Graduate Institute (Santa Barbara/USA), Naropa University (Boulder/USA), Esalen Institute (Big Sur/USA), George Washington University (DC/USA), Oakland University (Rochester/USA), Psychiatric Hospital (Brussels/Belgium).
Author of the books 'Orixás on the Divã' and 'Sailor's Love'. And also the plays 'A Love Story', 'Earth'sons', 'A Fairy Tale, A Gypsy Tale' and 'Super Heroe's Daily Life'.
She has deep knowledge about the positive and negative influences of natural elements: Fire, Earth, Water and Air in our lives.
With extensive experience in spiritual care, Tina de Souza understood that a vibratory and spiritual imbalance could also be a cause of illness. For this reason, she decided to study psychology and seek more knowledge, integrating psychology and spirituality. As a result, she developed and systematized the PUIS concept, which was successfully presented to the academic world in Brazil, Europe, United States and Canada.
Tina de Souza's studies are precious references in today's society, as medicine has been awakening to the importance of the spiritual dimension in the treatment of physical diseases. Science still doesn't explain, but many doctors and even hospitals already use and recognize the spiritual influence in the processes of prevention and cure.
